Shipping & Delivery

We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours on business days, which are Saturday – Thursday (excluding public holidays).

Local Delivery

4 delivers locally in Kuwait via POSTA PLUS. Items will be delivered locally in Kuwait on the next working day if orders are placed before 4:00 pm. The customer will be liable for any sales taxes or import duties (if any) that may apply to the order.

Estimated times for local delivery in Kuwait are:

Sunday – Thursday between 8.30am and 6pm

Orders made on Thursday will be delivered on Saturday

Middle-East: 1-2 days
Europe: 2-3 days
USA & Canada: 3-4 days
Asia: 3-4 days

We do not accept any responsibility for delays incurred with customs.

All orders require a signature upon receipt.

4 insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you. We require a signature for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you have specified a recipient who is not you for delivery purposes (for example as a gift) then you accept that evidence of a signature by them (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfilment by 4 and transfer of responsibility in the same way.

Orders may be cancelled via email up to the time they are dispatched. If the order has already been dispatched you cannot cancel the order, but are entitled to a refund or exchange. We are unable to redirect orders once items have been dispatched. Although we make every effort to ensure there is sufficient stock available to customers, there is always a chance that an item has sold out. In the event that 4 does not have in stock the item you ordered, you will be notified by telephone or email. The rest of the order will be dispatched to you and the unavailable item will be deducted from the total.

Please note that we aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours with the exception of sale periods where this may take up to 48 hours. Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only and commence from the date of dispatch, 4 are not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes.

The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders shipped outside of Kuwait may be subject to import taxes, VAT, customs duties, and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and can't predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

Our Returns Policy


All items are quality controlled and checked for any faults before they are dispatched to customers. Should you receive an item that is not in perfect condition please contact us immediately. If you want to return an item(s), please email returns@thenumber4.com within 7 days of receiving your order. Items need to be received by 4 within a further 7 days (in other words returned items must be received within one week of store approval). Items will not be accepted for return without an advance email.

Please send all items you wish to return from an order in the same shipment to ensure your return is processed as quickly as possible.

Once returned you will be entitled to receive an exchange or a refund, which will not include the cost of the original postage and packaging. We are not able to refund or exchange items that appear to have been worn, washed, or are not in original condition.

We ask that you send your return or exchange via courier service only to the address listed immediately below. Please ensure that you arrange suitable insurance when returning any items as we cannot accept responsibility in the case of loss/damage for items we do not ship ourselves. Please also remember to note the tracking number of your package.

We ask that all international customers be aware that all international customs, duties and sales taxes cannot be refunded.

If items are sent in error by 4, a refund will be issued to the credit card holder. Please note card refunds may take up to 30 business days for your bank to complete, depending on their processing time. This can vary greatly between card issuers.

Items that cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Cosmetic/beauty products
  • Fragrances
  • Swimwear
  • Underwear
  • Sale items

Only items that 4 confirm are new and unused will be eligible for a return or exchange. Therefore, items should be returned in their original packaging to ensure they are adequately protected in transit. Shoe boxes should also be protected as they are considered part of the product, and your return may not be accepted if the box is damaged.

Clothes & Accessories

Items should be returned new, unused, and with all store and designer garment tags still attached. Returns that are damaged, soiled or altered may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer (at the customer’s cost).
Where applicable, belts and any designer packaging such as authenticity cards, dust bags and leather tags should be included with your return.


All shoes must be tried on a carpeted surface until you are certain you are keeping them. Shoes should be returned unmarked and in their original, undamaged shoe box as this is considered part of the product. Shoes that are returned without a box, in a damaged box or with marked soles may not be accepted, and may be sent back to the customer.

Late Returns

Returns outside these timeframes may be accepted at the discretion of 4 and may only be refunded as a store credit.

Gift Returns

If you have received an item as a gift, you may exchange it for store credit.

Faulty goods

Goods are classified as faulty if they are damaged upon receipt. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. Where possible, we will offer to repair faulty items. If you would like to exchange your item, please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product in the same size, subject to availability. You will receive a full refund if the item cannot be repaired or replaced. For all faulty items outside of our Returns Policy, please contact returns@thenumber4.com


We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on 4. However, as computer monitors vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will be completely accurate.
